- On the subject of screens there is a device called the "manga screen" it is fully open source both in hardware and software. It is around the dimensions of a phone screen, has either a 720p or a 1080p screen, and is multitouch capable. It also uses standard USB and HDMI, no weird connectors. It may be worth a look, and here are some links.

For this project specifically this could be used for input while the other USB display could be used for monitoring data such as the video recording.

- Also this could maybe be combined into a "robotic arm construction set" ; we would use two "robotic arm modules" for the shopaid, many more for an assembly line, so on and so forth.

^ Yes, absolutely, but for now the focus is just getting the documentation station working. --Lex Berezhny (talk) 01:53, 13 November 2017 (CET)

^ Sounds good! So i was reading up on the camera module, any idea if it does focus/exposure adjustments (in the code maybe) ? Granted that wouldn't be that bad if it didn't but anyways just curious. Also should we put this in the parts list:

It appears to be a focus knob for the camera module, which may come in handy. It is pretty inexpensive, although we could maybe 3d print one ourselves. --User:Eric

We should 3D print it. --Lex Berezhny (talk) 03:01, 13 November 2017 (CET)

Any idea on dimensions? We could possibly use a micrometer to find them once we get the part, then do a quick CAD, and print it? --User:Eric 03:07, 13 November 2017 (CET)

So an update on things, I made the Open Source Robotic Arm Construction Set if you want to check that out for integration into future designs. I also think the "home" for this page will be the Open Source Automation Construction Set, as I think this is essentially a human replacement, especially at the later phases. And i think a modified version of this exists as the following:

- Open Source Hazmat Response Humanoid Robot in the Open Source Hazmat Response Construction Set

- Open Source Firefighting Humanoid Robot in the Open Source Firefighting Constuction Set

These are essenially used as humans would be but they are obiously more durable than their fleshy counterparts

So yeah, thats that

Also stage 10 is where they develop artificial general intelligence and demand rights right? Lol
