Energy Exporting

Basics

• The Exporting of Energy from one Scale to another
• In most current literature this is almost Greenwashing for Fossil Fuel exports
• As Fossil Fuels are Phased Out , and as Supergrids emerge this can very well be with Electrical Energy
• HOWEVER as they are no longer profitable current Pipeline Transport systems may become available for other uses
  • IF there would be sufficient ammount of Bio-Fuels or Power-to-X fuel to justify Pipeline Monitoring + Maitenence for the GIANT systems the fossil fuel industry uses is a question that would need to be answered.
    • This would be AT LEAST county level, and most likely state and up
    • Things such as tanker ships, and rail may be more economical (and envirmentally sound due to the risk of pipeline spills, but this is debatable and most biofuels, or especially raw feedstocks are less toxic than their fossil fuel counterparts (IE Charcoal vs Petrochemical Coal no mercury etc) )
  • The energy carriers would most likely be:
    • Hydrogen
    • Methane / Bio-Methane
    • Butanol
    • Others are less likely but possible (all Biofuels, as well as precursurs such as Bio-Crude Oil , Charcoal Slurry , and Pyrolysis Oil )
• Many powerful entities at different scales emerged this way
  • Mainly:
    • Countries such as those in the middle east, and scandanavia (both of which are also an example of what that wealth could be used for, Infastructure Based Development , or lining pockets...)
    • "Boomtowns" that due to sudden exports of oil or shale gas lead to massive growth

To-Do

• Determine Estimated KWH in "Exporatble Energy" if a community were converted such that all roofs had solar, efficiency was increased, and some other small scale energy systems such as a community scale Anerobic Digestion + Gas Turbine Combined Cycle CHP system
• Determine potential profit from such KWH
