Materials

• Frame Pieces 16x
• Bolts
• Washers
• Nuts

Steps

• Setup
  • Allocate Bolts
    • Lay out ??? bolts on Assembly Table
    • Place two washers on each bolt
    • Loosely attach nuts.

• Lower Frame Assembly
  • Place Blocks on assembly area ground
  • Place Lower Frame pieces (front-to-back) on Blocks
  • Place Lower Frame crossbraces atop the front-to-back pieces
  • Align holes
  • Bolt Lower Frame together.
  • Level the Lower Frame with Level
    • Adjust Blocks

• Upper Frame Assembly
  • Mount Vertical Frame Pieces to Lower Frame inner corners
    • Tighten loosely. Leave room for play.
  • Mount Upper Crossbrace Frame Pieces
  • Mount Upper Front-Back Frame Pieces
  • Tighten all frame bolts extra-tight.
• Finished!

Potential Issues

• Bolt not fitting in hole?
  • Ream hole
• Bolt fits, but stuck?
  • Loosen nearby bolts, use punch + hammer to force bolt through.

  • Crossbrace Mounts (4x)

• QA Plate
• Hydraulic Cylinders
  • Short 2x
  • Long 2x
• Locking Pins
• Hydraulic Pins 10x
  • Cotter Pins 10x

Safety

• The arm and frame are HEAVY. ??? tons
  • Be very cautious
  • Wear steel toed boots
  • Block wheels

Steps

• Lay Arm Tubes on Lifetrac Frame
• Place QA Plate on ground in front of arms.
• Lift Arms into position
• Insert Rotational Shaft through arms and Upper Frame Collars.
• Lay Arm Crossbrace between arms, on Lower Frame front.
• Bolt Crossbrace Mounts to Crossbrace
• Bolt Crossbrace Mounts to Arms (4x)
• Connect Arms to QA plate.
• Insert Pins
• Bolt Hydraulic Mount Plates to Arms (4x)
• Attach Hydraulic Arm Frame Mounts (2x)
• Mount Main Hydraulic Cylinders (2x) between Frame Mount and Arm Plates
  • Insert Pins
• Mount Secondary Hydraulic Cylinders (2x) between QA plate and Arm Plates
  • Insert Pins
• Insert Cotter Pins into all Pins

Issues

• Arm Rotation Shaft not gong through?
  • Grind shaft.
  • Ream holes
• Pins not fitting in hydraulic holes?
  • Grind pins
• Collars come loose?
  • Mallet, Punch, WD-40
