Advanced Civilization Design/Build

Framing for OSE education, which focuses on collaborative democracy. Note democracy hasn't solved for mob rule, in that one vote goes to a person regardless of their wisdom level. That smart or rich people can influence or buy votes does not solve this fully.

The only solution is maximizing civilization design for teaching wisdom. This means upward mobility on Maslow's Pyramid: from democratic technology for survival, esteem, wisdom, and humility to open up possibility and become Immortal, thereby creating a world in which problems have been solved.

Graduation Requirement

Each 24 person cohort writes a collaborative thesis, and collaborates with successive cohorts, about 10 in number, to author a new collaborative product ecology that begins to solve a problem, such as energy, democracy, agriculture, etc, in any major troubled area of humanity.

The contribution of ~240 poeple over 4 years, with effective contribution tracking, is key to graduation. One must demonstrate contribution to CAD part libraries, design documents, prototype builds, and other contributions. The test here is the quality of thinking that follows a just, democratic design.

The core infrastructure requirement is to measure contributions effectively for their democratic, distributive ethic. This includes:

• Economic value - for addressing survival up to financial independence. For this, open, collaborative, lifeti,e-design product ecologies are key, to bind energy use 10x over the current state by applying Lifetime Design.
• Culturally creative value - making positive contributions to humanity's various processes. For this, Democratic Institutions must be well understood in terms of their relevance and contribution to a democratic society.
• Innovation - original contribution that makes for a new, practical option that humanity can take. For this, one must understand the Edge of Knowledge across all human endeavors.
• Abundance value - clear and unambiguous evidence of transcending any binding of scarcity thinking. For this, Scarcity Mindset must be well-defined.

Grad School

Completing grad school, with 10 Campuses participating, constitutes a population of 2400 student agents. This begins to touch on the scale of original civilization - about 100k - for Periclean Athens. While we have more technology today than ancient Athens, it can be assumed that the scale of operation must be comparable to the Athenian experiment, which went bankrupt in 200 years. Our goal is to make a longer-lasting democratic solution.

With 6 years of grad school, our goal is to create a core of 2400 capable people, who can organize a new civilization. One possibility would be a new microstate established on affordable land, such as in a desert or other currently uninhabited space.
