Pressing world issues are defined as potentially existential risks to humanity and nature. For example, if all the forests are cut down, humanity may face existential risks from desertification. Or if all water is polluted, mass dieoff can occur from water-borne sickness. Or, if greed is unchecked, resource depletion or war can annihilate many life forms.

It is useful to consider cause and effect relationships, such as the ramifications of a rising Gini Coefficient on human marginalization or modern day slavery. It is useful to consider the effect of wage-slavery on one's self-determination.

Many things are connected to the regenerative use of natural resources, and such relationships must be considered when prioritizing the resolution of pressing world information.

OSE's solutions revolve around knowledge wanting to be free, and self-determination filling human lifestyles.
