Open Source 10 Cubic Meter FDM 3D Printer
From Open Source Ecology
Basics
- A D3D with a 10 Cubic Meter print volume
Backround
- Most of the largest (non crude cement ones) FDM Printers have a print area >2 Cubic Meters
- This would be vastly overshooting that record thus causing a real PR impact
- Would be very slow and quite cumbersome, but may be useful for developing things like the Open Source Watercraft Hull Printer
Used For
- OSE Record Run/World Record
- Practical Publicity Stunt
- Printing of Large Componets in One Piece
