Talk:Plastic-Metal Composites

I know the term "Mostly (3D) Printed" is often used for this situation, see MP-CNC etc. Granted i am the resident terminology snob, but i think this would be better for those sinterable metal filaments ( Composite FDM Filaments IIRC, or something with a continuous wire in it? )

Few years later me here, Overmolding / Threaded Inserts are a related concept

I need to make a page on Threaded Inserts / Heat Set Inserts , as well as order some + associated kit (A Soldering Iron , CNC Kitchen (YouTube Channel) also has made + sells some Iron Tips for Pressing the Inserts in, as well as removing them, a Heat Set Inserts Press , an Open Source Torque Reaction Arm would be the high end of this) etc)

Makes high quality Lead Free Brass etc based inserts too, although finding an alternative source would be wise despite personally I’ll probably use that source to support their channel as well as get the parts i need
