It isn't clear from the diagram if the spring holds the valve open or closed. Does the solenoid cause the valve to open or close? Mjn 14:29, 7 September 2011 (CEST)

i sorta drew it thinking the spring would keep it closed. its kind of rattling my brain what forces the solenoid will have to overcome. the spring, plus what effect will the difference in pressure have, plus steam running through the valve. duno how significant each is. wasnt sure if it would make sense to have the inlet be a bolt normally closed, and the outlet an arrow normally open. any thoughts? --Dorkmo 21:19, 7 September 2011 (CEST)
