Basics

Main Advantages

  • Can be used directly as a Fuel in crude burners, with some cleanup can be used in COTS Engines

Main Concerns/Disadvantages

  • Storage
  • SAFETY
    • Given it is either pure Carbon Monoxide (the “silent killer” we worry about Gas Appliances/ICE Driven Vehicles/Emergency Supplies making in homes in trace amounts etc), or a mix of that and Hydrogen (with it’s Hydrogen Embrittlement and low LEL concerns), it is a bit of a safety headache
      • This can be remedied by only generating when needed (such as the Charcoal Gasifier ), or via G2L tech, converting it into “safer” (or at least easier handled/tracked) fuels
