Why Should You Support Open Source Ecology?

Because we are building the world's first replicable self-sufficient village, so that anyone can "buy out at the bottom" to transform society by transcending survival - and we can all evolve to freedom. When the project is complete replication can be had by all at low cost. The tools under development are to help you!

  • You may have seen our documentation of progress at our weblog. We are making real things, not just ideas.

Subscribe to the Thousand True Fans - Thousand Global Villages Campaign

If you would like to support OSE but cannot volunteer in person then please consider subscribing to the 1000 True Fans - 1000 Global Villages Campaign. True Fans get open access to the "Factor e Farm" infrastructure to replicate machines and plants. See the introduction and subscribe to support the work at $10 per month for the next 2 years. The subscription is a repeating donation to Open Source Ecology through Marcin Jakubowski, Ph.D.

You can also make a monetary donation through paypal to Open Source Ecology through Marcin Jakubowski, Ph.D. We also have other donation options including tax deductible charitable donations,

You can also donate resources such as food, services, metals, and materials to OSE. We have a list of needed items and materials. Please email OpenSourceEcology@gmail.com to find out how.

Spread the word

You can also help by spreading the word about Open Source Ecology. Here are some ideas. Tell everyone you know about OSE! Add OSE as a friend on your social networking sites - see our facebook page, myspace page, twitter, and identi.ca.

Become a Project Manager

What OSE needs the most is people to lead development on projects of the Global Village Construction Set. If you can be an online or full time on-site project manager for one of our projects, please see the Build a Village Project.

Thank you for whatever you can help with!
