Some of my high priority research and development areas include - thermomoldable cellulose/starch/glycerol bioplastic (easy demonstration), cellulose membrane technology (key to several product ecologies - continuous fermentor, reverse osmosis water filtration, biorefinery, etc), lignin pyrolysis for high value chemicals (aromatics), greenhouse glazing based on polyethylene and polyethylene vinyl acetate (layering technology and incorporation of UV resistant molecules such as lignin aromatics), hardware development (fermentor and fluidized bed reactor), less than conventional organisms for utility background and sourcing (lactic acid, ethanol, and acetone/ethanol/lactic acid fermenters, mycelium, algae)

I think biomass combustion could already provide the energy to fuel a global village, but I am studying algae because they are the most efficient fixators of carbon and could be engineered to be produce any number of pharmaceuticals/chemicals/high value biofuels. Also studying plant lipid production and photosynthesis in order to push the limits of the energy that can be harvested and the products that can be locally produced by a small intentional community.

Yes. Once an idea is released and in the wild no one can claim ownership of it. Maintaining "ownership" is only possible with State endorsed violence and violence only leads to destruction. Most people still endorse the idea of intellectual property but maybe we can change their minds.
After developing the wiki for the last six months I am amazed at what I have learned and am more convinced than ever local, organic development will outpace the petrodollar status quo in efficiency and its ability to provide the necessities and fruits of life to a populace.

Redistribute the means of production without violating property rights (as the current system does).
Providing the information to build the core tools of an advanced civilization will allow people to develop community around the ideas that they endorse and with people whom are of the same mindset (truly intentional). The current system keeps information in the hands of a politically selected group and is enforced with the violence of the State. GVCS (I-III) will allow people to shun that system and gain a greater standard of living and more fulfilling roles (no longer be isolated from the fruits of labor). Natural wealth is abundant around us and could be easily magnified with a tool set that could be built and maintained by small communities. A successfully established global village will inspire people the world over to focus on working with those around them to create a civilization rather than being divided.

At some point in the future I would like to make a dedicated project visit to implement the projects I am helping to develop. I don't think linear development of GVCS I-III is necessary or desirable and local material production (III) should be pursued simultaneously with component import replacement (II).

The project is starting to scale successfully. I would like to see greater implementation of agricultural innovation (permaculture, food forests, mycelium farming, aquaculture, etc) but with the larger team and a farm director this seems to be on the horizon.

Chemistry/Product Design
My main skill is my ability to sift through a large amount of scientific and technological information and apply it to the goals of OSE. I am knowledgeable about chemistry and biology and can research project outlines and specific details for these types of projects. My main goal for wiki development is to identify applicable solutions to OSE goals, gather all information necessary for implementation and package it to be accessible to people that will implement the projects. Most of my projects are not at this phase yet but that is my goal.
Finances/ Organizational/ Communications
I was two term treasurer of Student Government and managed a $100K budget. During my tenure I developed our website to allow include greater accessibility of current information, usability of campus resources, and submissions to and tracking of different programs we conducted. My main goal was to help students run successful student organizations dedicated to their topics of interest.
