In 2012, OSE started the Backhoe 2 (Deep Dig) redesign. In Oct 2013 we're finishing the redesign and doing a new build, docs, etc.

The goals of the backhoe 2 are:


* to have an increased range of motion,

As of Oct 12, 2013 we're not exactly following the [[Bobcat Standard Quick Attach]] because it doesn't line up with our grid and we didn't want to diverge from the backhoe design right now to make a custom mount. The mounts are a little narrower than the standard. We can improve this later.

Requirements

As of Oct 12, 2013 we're not exactly following the Bobcat Standard Quick Attach because it doesn't line up with our grid and we didn't want to diverge from the backhoe design right now to make a custom mount. The mounts are a little narrower than the standard. We can improve this later.
