Status
In 2012, OSE started the Backhoe 2 (Deep Dig) redesign. In Oct 2013 we're finishing the redesign and doing a new build, docs, etc.

Requirements
The goals of the backhoe 2 are:
- to have an increased range of motion,
- to use the standard Warehouse parts as much as possible, and
- to use the Bobcat Standard Quick Attach to attach to the LifeTrac 6.
Designs
- OSE Oct 2013 redesign is using File:Backhoe deep dig.skp.
- OSE Side by side hydraulic design based on small ditch witch design. File:Backhoe sidebyside2.skp
- Oily Hands has a huge list of diggers people have built themselves
- this guy has a fully documented build process for his
- Ubuildit Plans has a backhoe design that's about as simple as one can possibly get.
