Talk:Solar Hydrogen Fueling Station

If connected to a Smart Grid / Microgrid (ie Solar Panels on Every Roof and all are connected in a Grid-Tied Electrical System / Semi- Decentralized Grid, you could use the excess daytime power (if extant) to run the electrolysers. This could reduce, or even replace the amount of dedicated PV panels needed at the station itself

Granted long term hydrogen storage is a mess, but by having a large tank too you could probably make up for a slower recharge time (granted then you have to predict how much is needed how often etc)

Also, it would be another page, but you could integrate some form of Hydrocarbon Reformer / Methane Reformer / Methane Pyrolysis system to add that as a hydrogen source into the system. Biogas / R-CNG etc are the most obvious fuels, but in theory Syngas from Biomass and/or RDF and the Water Gas Shift Reaction could work as well.
