Been using Gemini 3 in visual studio. It seems to do a better job of understanding spacial ideas and locations when described in text. makes a good pairing for openscad.

On January 2, 2026, a session fixed visual issues and optimized hydraulic cylinders for the LifeTrac V2.5 loader arm in OpenSCAD by correcting bucket cylinder misalignment using actual arm tip coordinates. Upgraded from a 16-inch to 18-inch stroke through iterative mounting adjustments, aligning the crossbeam with physical arm cutouts while adding diagnostics. Final setup resolved visuals, geometry, and constraints with optimized stroke and positions.

wired up a test box. having trouble triggering relay. probably not enough signal voltage from microcontroller. need to test output from arduino MKR1000 further. I think i might need a diode with the resistor?
 
got everything to fit inside a 4x4x2 conduit box. used stepped drill bit to cut holes. then tied knot in wire to keep it from pulling out.
