Overview
The Electromagnetic Plasma Distillery is a theoretical machine that separates a mix of particles - in a plasma state - using the particle distinct magnetic rigidity. This is a suggested improvement for the microwave inducted plasma gasification systems that are commercially working.
Details
Current microwave induced Plasma Gasification devices appears to be quite efficient, consuming around 20% of the energy they produce. The products are syngas and the by-product inert slag. It is suggested that the process could be driving a step forward enabling the continuous and potentially low maintenance separation of the particles in the plasma using a magnetic deflector and particle distinct magnetic rigidities
