Overview
The CNC Torch Table is used for making accurate and precise steel cuts. The machine is critical for fabricating most other GVCS Products, as can be seen in the Product Ecologies. The machine consists of 3 parts:
- the physical table
- the electronics driving the torch
and - the computer software.
The current push for the CNC Torch Table is that it is needed to create parts for the CEB Press.

recommended next steps: 1. get the candcnc.com 's dragon-cut 620-4 and implement on the current table. utilize your same bearing setup for the z-axis. 2. build the mantis 9 , but use the snaplock electronics.
Performance and Test Related
Trapping, or how well the machine constrains undesired movement while cutting, must be measured, and a threshold should be determined. This information can be used while designing future tools and machines using the CNC Torch Table.
